It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. MaryJune 'Nanny' Valentine, age 77 of Gallipolis on July 25,2025 who passed away at her home, surrounded by her family after a brief illness, that she bore with remarkable fortitude. She was the  beloved wife of Richard A. Valentine who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by 2 sons, David Valentine and Eugene Valentine.

Born Mary June Hatfield on May 5, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Mary and Virgil Hatfield. Mrs. Valentine was known throughout the community for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. Her passing creates a void felt by all who knew her. She will also be remembered for the many years that she was an active member of the Eastern Star.

She leaves behind family members, Staci (Zach) Hampton and Amanda (Mike) Walker along with grandchildren, Lucas Kingery, Kayden Kingery, Elijah Kingery, Declan Kingery, Konnor Kingery, Aurora Thomas, Onix Thomas, Dyson Hunt, Chris (Angelique) Kingery, Dakota Thomas, Destanee Hampton, Ashley Stover and Courtney Valentine, all of Gallipolis; brother, Ricky Hatfield; niece, Wendy Sizemore. She also leaves behind her fur baby Sweet Pea, whom was her best friend and constant, loyal companion.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

As per Mary's wishes there will be no services.
