Michael Ervin Putney, age 57, of Gallipolis, died Friday evening December 4, 2020 at Holzer Medical Center.  Born on June 4, 1963 in Gallipolis.  He was the son of the late Joann Hill McDonald.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded by a brother Paul Ray Bright.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jill McCoy Putney of Gallipolis, 5 children, Kaliff Putney, Kasidy (Dustin) Putney, Michael Putney, Christopher (Jessi) McCoy and Baleigh Armstrong, 5 grandchildren, Kenadee, Zayn, Cannon, Peyton and Elliot, siblings, Bud Bright, Sonny Bright, Chuck McDonald, Dean McDonald, Robbie Bright and Sandra Kay Putney.   Also surviving is his faithful and loving dogs Oliver and Zelda.

Memorial Services will be at 12:00 PM. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Little Kyger Church.  Friends may call at the church one 1 hour prior to the service.  All of  those attending are to wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
