Mildred T. White, age 85, of Gallipolis, died Tuesday morning May 10, 2011 at Holzer Senior Care Center. Born September 15, 1925 in Ironton. She was the daughter of the late Millard and Effie Acres Bundy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Dewey White Jr. And by 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and by an infant Great Grandchild.
Mildred retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center where she worked as an LPN. She was a member of Chapel Hill Church of Christ.
Mildred loved to write short stories and share them with her family and friends.
She is survived by:
2 Sons: Roger (JoAnn) White of Gallipolis
Stephen (Carolyn) White of Cottageville
5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
2 Brothers: Newt Bundy of Ironton
Cleve (Edna) Bundy of Ironton.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Thursday May 12, 2011 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral Home with Lewis Mikell officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday (today) from 6-8 PM.
