Nellie Agnes Henderson, age 91, of Gallipolis, died Tuesday evening January 1, 2013 at Holzer Senior Care Center. Born September 4, 1921 in Gallia County. She was the daughter of the late Bert Alfred and Lesta Olive Lathorn Eblin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by 2 husbands, Woodrow Wallace and Cliff Henderson, by a son, Gary Wallace, 2 daughters, Betty Coliver, and Connie Shoulders, 1 grandson, Gary Wallace II, a great grandson, Gary Wallace III, brothers and sisters, Katie Watson Rossiter, Dellie Libby, Mary Garlic, Olive Summers, Glenn Eblin and Dokie Watson.
Agnes lived her entire life in Gallia County. She was a homemaker and formerly attended Bell Chapel.
She is survived by, a son, Steve (Sandy) Henderson of Pomeroy, a daughter in law, Shirley Wallace of Gallipolis, 6 grandchildren, Deeanna Swartz, Leeanna Roberts, Suzanna Ewing, Chad Wallace, Tracy Cundiff and Shannon Shoulders. Also surviving is several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM. Friday January 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Hope at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Humane Society in Agnes' memory. Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home is assisting the family.
