Nick Griffin age 88, of Southside, WV passed away on Thursday August 2, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Hospital. Born October 8, 1929 to Savilla McMillen, father unknown, but later believed to be Harry Turner. Nick was turned over to the Cuyahoga County Services to be later placed in a foster home. He attended Lakewood High School, served 2 years in the Army Corp of Engineers, attended the Ohio State University and later married Eleanor Cuciak, who became the mother of their five children. Teri (Craig) Rollins, Sandy Neeson, Nick (Laura) Griffin, Wendy Griffin and Jay Griffin. Nick retired from the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit as a maintenance man and as 1 ^st . Vice president of local #268 ATU, also Vice President of Morse Graphic Art, CEO of Art Rep. and numerous volunteer jobs after retirement. He is grandfather to Nick Griffin II, Kris Griffin, Rick Rollins, Shannon Rollins, Danny Rollins, Maggie Gattermeyer, Tommy Neeson, Roxanne Plourde, Justin Thompson, Chris Rollins, Emily Eiben, and Joshua Griffin. Life partner since 1967 and later my spouse Wayne Lee Withers, and numerous great grandchildren.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's or to Christ Episcopal Church in Point Pleasant, WV. where he had been a member for over 25 years.
