Norma Beulah Powell Kiskis, age 87 of Gallipolis, died Thursday January 2, 2025 at Holzer Medical Center. Born September 22, 1937 in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late David Wendell and Augusta Esther Tope Powell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, James Matthew Kiskis, who she married on May 9, 1979 and he preceded her on April 17, 2008, by a brother-in-law, Billy Fanning, and by 2 stepsons, James Joseph Kiskis and Thomas Andrew Kiskis.

Norma was a graduate of Bidwell-Porter High School, class of 1955. She retired from Robbins and Meyers/Rockwell Automation on October 1, 1997 after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Gallipolis Christian Church.

Norma enjoyed sewing. She made and donated blankets for Seniors at Nursing Homes and Babies born to members of her Church, Family and area Ministries. She also had a special place in her heart for her cats, Patches, Mommy Cat and Big Kitty, that have all passed.

Norma is survived by, step-daughters, Brenda (Ross) Elliott, Karen (David) McCarty and Elaine Kiskis, step-sons, Kenneth (Karen) Kiskis and Daniel (Cecilia Mercante) Kiskis, a sister, Esther Fanning, niece, Pamela Fanning, nephew, Billy (Cathy) Fanning along with 2 step-great nieces and 1 step-great nephew, 10 step grandchildren, 20 step great grandchildren and special friends, Rayanna Stinson and Vicky Anderson.

Private Entombment be will held at the Chapel of Hope Mausoleum at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
