Pamela Sue 'Pam' Carter Rupe, age 56 of Gallipolis, died Friday September 2, 2016 at her residence. Born February 21, 1960 in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Violet J. Saunders Carter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Raymond Rupe and by a brother, William Bryan 'Bill' Carter.
Pam graduated from Gallia Academy High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center, where she received her cosmetology degree. She worked for many years as a beautician and later as a home health care worker.
She was a very loving and giving person, always willing to help in anyone she could. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and especially by her family.
She is survived by her son, Matthew Carter of Gallipolis, a sister, Vera (Jeff) Snedaker of Gallipolis and by a brother, Ron Carter of Gallipolis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Friday September 9, 2016 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home, with Pastor's Alvis Pollard and David Harkleroad officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
