Patricia Rosann Galyen, age 76, of Gallipolis passed away on Saturday July 18, 2015 at Holzer Medical Center. Born January 20, 1939 in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late George Lee Holbrook and Elva Francis Roberts Holbrook. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her Husband; Raymond Otis Galyen Jr.; Son; Lyle Edward Galyen and by 2 Grandchildren; Mark Edward Townsend and Jerrica Anne Henry and by Sister; Katherine Louise Holbrook.
Patricia was a homemaker and a devoted and loving mother.
She is survived by her Children; Robert Wayne (Marty) Galyen of Springfield, Donald Ray (Tracy) Galyen of Springfield, Thonia Lea (Michael) Townsend of Springfield, Ohio, Dianna Kay (Larry) Henry of Bealeton, Virginia, and David Allen Galyen of Chillicothe, Ohio; Brother; Dallas (Bethany) Holbrook of Kitts Hill, Ohio ; Sister; Sharon Joyce Holbrook Howard of Rodney, Ohio; Grandchildren: Kelly Dawn (Jeremy) Thomas, Dwayne Robert Galyen, Kaitlin Ashley Galyen, Kylie Elizabeth Hubbard, all of Springfield, Ohio, Elizabeth Nicole (Gary) Johnson of Calhoun, GA, Michael Edward Galyen of Springfield, Ohio, Anthony Wayne Galyen of Bealeton, VA, Christina Faith Galyen of Bealeton, VA, Kyle Ray Galyen of Springfield, Ohio, Michael Eugene Townsend Jr. of Springfield, Ohio, Larry William (Regina) Henry III of Remington, VA, and Cortney Michelle (Curtis) Colvin of Stafford, VA and by 15 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 25, 2015 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday July 24, 2015 from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m.
