PORTSMOUTH – Peggy Jo Ann Harrington, 74, of the 100 block of Yorkshire Dr. passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013 in her residence. Born on July 25, 1939 in Illinois, she was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Nellie McDonough; and a son in-law, Roger Hatchett.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Curtis R. Harrington; three daughters, Debi Hope and husband Larry, Cheryl Jones and husband Chip and Kim Hatchett; two sons, Rusty Harrington and wife Angel and Brent Harrington; eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel on Tuesday evening from 7 – 8 PM. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 22, 2013 in the Chapel of Hope at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis, OH. with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home is assisting the family in Gallipolis.
