Philip A. Bailey, age 73 of Crown City, died Friday morning December 4, 2020 at his residence. Born March 26, 1947 in Martin County, KY. He was the son of the late William 'Bill' and Myrtle Evans Bailey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Phil was a United States Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. He was a life member of VFW #4464.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Fay Halley Bailey of Crown City, a daughter, Amanda Huffman of Rio Grande, 2 sons, Matthew and Stephen Bailey both of Crown City, 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also surviving is a sister, Bertha Spence of Ravenna, OH.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Wednesday December 9, 2020 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday 1 hour prior to the service. All those attending are to wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.

Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the VFW #4464 Honor Guard.
