Phyllis Pearl Wilcoxon, age 88, of Gallipolis died Sunday evening November 23, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born May 30, 1937 in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Martin and Emma Lee McGuire Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Willis Grauman Wilcoxon whom she was married to for 66 years and he preceded her on May 25, 2023. She was also preceded by 2 sisters, Opal Gauselman and Elsie Saunders.

Phyllis retired as a vice president from Ohio Valley Bank. She was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church. Phyllis also helped her husband in the raising of their cattle. She was a great sister, who enjoyed quilting, traveling, camping. She was known for her warm smile and her love of visiting with people.

Phyllis is survived by her sister, Retha Metz; sister-in- law, Naomi Wilcoxon; brother and sister -in- law, Merrill and Judy Wilcoxon. Also surviving are several nephews and nieces and her 2 special care givers, Jenny Riddle and Jean Bevan.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Wednesday November 26, 2025 at the Centenary United Methodist Church with Pastor James Holman officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 PM. till 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to, Centenary United Methodist Church 2887 St. Rt. 141 Gallipolis, Ohio 45631 in Phyllis' memory.

Pallbearers will be: Brett Sanders, Todd Sanders, Michael Rayburn, Chris Wilcoxon, Steve Wilcoxon and Augie Wilcoxon.
