Dr. Randall Thomas Hamilton, age 70, of Gallipolis, passed away December 11, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Gallipolis, son of Frank and Ruth Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Tammy. Rande is survived by his children, Shea (Peter) Garnham of London, England, Ryan of Utah, Megan of Arizona, and Jared of Gallipolis. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, one brother Richard (Judy) Hamilton along his wife's two daughters, Mary Jane and Ashley.

Rande was a 1970 graduate of Gallia Academy High School, attended Marshall University, and graduated from the Southern School of Optometry. He practiced optometry for many years in Putnam County, West Virginia. He had a lifelong love of boating, having lived along the Ohio River for much of his life.

Final arrangements will be private.
