Randall Samuel Moore, age 69, of Nelsonville and formerly of Gallipolis, died Friday evening February 26, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Born September 15, 1946 in Marietta, Ohio. He was the son of the late Noel F. and Alma L. James Moore.
Randall was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Marine Corp. He retired as an ambulate driver. He was a much beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.
He is survived by a son, David (Francine) Moore of Vine Grove, Kentucky, a daughter, Randi Moore-Halley of Nelsonville, three grandchildren, Liam Moore, Aidan Moore, and Destany Halley- Cox (Daniel Rutter), and three great grandchildren, Xandra Cox, Dani Lynn Rutter, and Cannon Rutter.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Wednesday March 2, 2016 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor John O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Crown City Cemetery.
Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail.
