Obituary

Richard Allen 'Dick' Moore, age 78, of Gallipolis, died Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Holzer Medical Center. Born February 13, 1937 in Gallipolis, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ted and Farie Fraley Moore.
Dick was a United States Navy Veteran, serving as a radioman. He retired as a Safety Coordinator from the Shell Plant, (formerly Goodyear). He was a member of AmVets Post 23, and DAV Post 141. He served on the Gallia County Veterans Service Board, and was a two term City Commissioner, serving once as president. He was a member of the First Church of God.
Dick is survived by his Wife: Virginia O'Neill Moore of Gallipolis; 3 Sons: Ryan (Sandra Fowler) Moore of Gallipolis Ferry, Mike Moore of Gallipolis, and Mark (Karla) Moore of Lincoln, Nebraska; 3 Grandchildren: Colby Moore, Brandon Moore, and Mikaela Moore; and by 1 Great Grandchild: Kaydence Moore.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 2, 2016 at the First Church of God with Pastor Paul Voss officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from Noon until time of service. Pallbearers will be: Brandon Moore, Tim Sanders, Philip O'Neill, Larry Dailey, Marty Haner, and Larry Sheets.
