Richard Allen Elliott, age 77, of Gallipolis died Sunday August 3, 2025 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. Born November 10, 1947 in Point Pleasant, WV, he was the son of the late Amity Gerald Elliott and Eleanor Luckydoo Elliott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife; Belinda Veazey Elliott.

Richard was a United States Army veteran and a retired employee of Kroger's. He was an avid fisherman and  loved to play scratch off lottery tickets and enjoyed fixing things. He was always there for his family and loved animals.

Richard is survived by his daughter; Michelle (Kasey Gamble) Elliott of Bidwell; granddaughter; Abigail Goodwin; nephew, Ronnie (Michelle) Durst; niece, Vicky Lynn Terry; great nephews, Joseph and Dillon Durst, and Jay; and by great nieces, Hayle Clendenen and Tessa Trimble.

Memorial services will be 1:00 PM. Saturday September 13, 2025 at the Chapel of Hope Mausoleum at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.

Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the chapel by the VFW #4464 Honor Guard.
