Robert Eugene 'Bob' Bush I, age 79 of West Jefferson passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the home of his loving son. He fought a long battle with cancer. Bob was born March 8, 1942 to William Moodspaugh and Lecta Mae Criner Bush in Mason, WV.

He married Peggy Jean Gardner March 10, 1961 to that union they raised four children; Robert Eugene Bush, II, Lecta Mae Bush, Bret B. (Marilyn) Bush and Tammy Kay (Randy) Might, and they lost a son at birth.

He was a United States Army Veteran. Bob had a great gift of gab and loved meeting people. He had several booths at the Milton Flea Market for years. He loved going to yard sales and flea markets.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, his son Robert, and both daughters; Lecta Mae and Tammy Kay, also both brothers; James Edward Bush and Roger Lee Bush, and a sister Karen Sue McCoy.

He is survived by his son Bret B. Bush, two sisters, Linda Kay (Roger) Kemper and Patricia Ann (Jeff) Watson, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, half- brothers, one half-sister, step sisters, and one step brother. He was greatly loved and he will be missed tremendously.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Saturday April 17, 2021 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM. -1:00 PM.
