Roger E. Scammahorn, 96, passed away to be with the Lord on June 3, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Betty Scammahorn, his brothers Byron Scammahorn, David Scammahorn and his sisters Marilyn Cress and Anita Lytle.

Roger is survived by his brother Keith (Ruth) Scammahorn, his sons, Gary (Angelica) Scammahorn and Ronald (Angie) Scammahorn, daughters, Deborah (Joe) Fairchild, Vickie (Jeff) Grooms and Denise Toler, and grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all the nurses, doctors, and staff of Holzer Hospital and Holzer Hospice for all their love, compassion and support.

There will be no services held, but a celebration of life will be decided at a later date.
