Ronald Lee Boster, age 68 of Thurman died Monday July 11, 2016 at Holzer Medical Center. Born June 12, 1948 in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late Bert Boster and Catherine Simms Boster of Thurman who survives. Ina addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Kim (Jeff) Dawkins of Pt. Pleasant, and Angela Halley of Bidwell, one sister, Mary (Patrick) Mundell of Thurman and several nieces and nephews.
Ronald was a 1968 graduate of Jackson Manpower. He was a tool and die maker working and retiring from Channel Master Corp. in North Carolina, he also formerly worked for Goodyear Corp. He was an avid golfer and loved to play the guitar. An ardent Cleveland Brown fan, he also loved to visit Disneyworld, taking his daughters on many trips there.
A memorial service will be 3:00 PM. Sunday July 17, 2016 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with his funeral expenses.
