Rosetta Burns, age 73, of Gallipolis died Tuesday June 30, 2026 at Arbors at Gallipolis. She was born May 21, 1953 in Gallipolis, to the late Thomas Burns Sr. and Myrtle E. Walters Burns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by 2 brothers; Robert L. Burns and Thomas Burns Jr.

She is survived by her daughter; Melissa (Scott) Shockey, and by 2 grandsons; Nathan Shockey and Dylan Shockey.

Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be announced once the plans are completed.
