Ruth Roberts, age 87, of Gallipolis, died Tuesday morning October 4, 2011 at her residence. Born December 27, 1923 in Gallia County, she is the daughter of the late Haskell and Belva Stevers Wells.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a son, Robert H. "Bobby" Roberts and by a brother, Paul Wells.

Ruth was a Homemaker. She formerly worked at G.C. Murphy's and retired from the mail room at Holzer Medical Center. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by: her Husband, Robert "Bob" Roberts Jr. to whom she was married for over 69 years.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM. Friday October 7, 2011 at Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 PM.
