Thelma Kate Harrison, age 68, of Bidwell, passed away on Sunday November 5, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Born July 21, 1949 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Reed. In addition to her Mother, she was preceded by 1 Brother, Johnny Burk.

Thelma was a Home Health Caregiver.

She is survived by her Husband: Richard Harrison of Bidwell; 2 Sons: Richard Harrison II of Bidwell, and Bobby (Andrea) Harrison of Marietta, Georgia; 1 Brother: Glen Burk of New York; 1 Sister: Ruth McConnell of Virginia; 4 Grandchildren: Rachael (Tyler) Kelly of Vinton, Madison Harrison of Vinton, Rylee Harrison of Marietta, GA and Asher Harrison of Marietta, GA; and by 2 Great Grandchildren: Milo Holley of Vinton and Tytien Kelly of Vinton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Jane Ann Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM.
