Violet Jean Sheets, age 50, of Oak Hill and formerly of Gallipolis, died Monday May 9, 2011 at her residence. Born July 13, 1960 in Gallipolis. She was the daughter of the late Ivan A. 'Abie' Sheets, and Nancy V. Murphy Sheets of Gallipolis.
Violet Jean was a retired employee of the Gallipolis Developmental Center. She was a member of the World Harvest Church in Columbus, and also a member of the Jimmy Swaggert Ministries.
She is survived by:

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Friday May 13, 2011 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral Home 810 2nd. Ave. Gallipolis, with Pastor Dean Warner officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday (today) from 5-8 PM.
