Bryant

Hillsboro
Virgil Bryant, age 60, of Hillsboro, Ohio died Tuesday June 17, 2025 in Pendleton, Kentucky. Born November 15, 1964 in Verdunville, WV, he was the son of Lester Bryant and the late Judy Spurlock Bryant. In addition to his mother, he was preceded by a brother, Thurman Eugene Bryant.
Virgil is survived by his wife, Tina Howard Bryant of Hillsboro; son, Travis (Christin) Day of Fletcher and Nathan Day of Hillsboro, father, Lester Bryant of Patriot; grandchildren, Alexis Button of Centerville, Alina Button of Centerville, Jayce Day of Fletcher and Carter Day of Fletcher; and by his brothers, Ray (Bonnie) Bryant of Cleveland, Tim (Renee) Bryant of Patriot, Jennings Bryant of Elyria, Lester (Rhonda) Bryant of Chapmanville and Garrett Bryant of Bidwell.
Virgil was a hard worker and a loyal family man. He began working at the young age of 13 riding on a delivery truck helping deliver dairy products and cleaning the Dairy Queen parking lot every morning, where according to him his favorite part of the pay from both jobs was the ice cream. He opened an in- home nursing home at the age of 20 providing care for the elderly which he enjoyed for over 20 years before closing up and becoming a self-employed trucker where he discovered he was a trucker at heart and enjoyed traveling seeing the world while working and in his off time he was a hard-worker but never neglected his family taking them on many vacations spending as much time with his kids and grandchildren as possible spoiling them all. He loved being "Popow" to his grandchildren and any other child that needed one. Virgil was one of a kind person extremely generous with a big heart and a big sense of humor to know him was to love him. We know that he has gone to a better place high in the heavens getting his wings he so earned here on earth but he will be extremely missed and never forgotten by all of his family and friends.
