Wanda M. Caldwell, age 91, of Crown City, passed away on Saturday May 4, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center. Born February 13, 1933 in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late Bay Milton and Grace Shafer Beaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, James Alva Caldwell, a son, Jimmy Dale Caldwell, daughter, Brenda Caldwell, Granddaughter, Missy Martin, brothers, Lawrence, Ode and Jimmy Beaver and by sisters, Betty Tobias and Violet Mooney.

Wanda loved taking care of her family which she loved dearly. She enjoyed gardening, canning her fruit and vegetables, croqueting and quilting.

She is survived by 3 children, Edna wells of Gallipolis, Johnny (Connie Holcomb) Caldwell of Crown City and Jerry (Linda) Caldwell of Crown City. 9 grandchildren, Angie (Carey) Adkins, Cindy Hollis, Jamie Dale Caldwell, Jessi Caldwell, Rick (Bernice) Wells, Johnny Dale Caldwell, Mandi Herald, Tyler (Jonna) Burgess and Dawn Caldwell, along with numerous great grand and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Wednesday May 8, 2024 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Unroe officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.

Pallbearers will be: Rick, Johnny Dale, Tyler, Brett, Brent and Carey.
