Wyllodine Lemon Haner, age 96, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away July 21, 2026. She was born Nov. 29 1929 in Huntington, WV. Wyllodine was the daughter of the late Robert and Lucille Lemon. She married Russell Haner Jr. on July 18, 1947. Also Preceded her in death was husband Russell Haner Jr., daughter Robin Wills, grandson, Joshua Venters, sister in laws, Hilda Barcus, Harriet Martin, Josie Algren and Mary Lewis. Brother in laws, Jerry Haner, Jim Haner, Wendell Haner and Adrian Haner.

Surviving children are Keith and Sharon Haner, of Clearwater, FL., Janet and Joe Igleheart of Rio Grande, OH, Patsy Venters of Gallipolis, OH, and Terry Haner of Gallipolis, OH; 7 grandchildren, 1 step-grandson, and 9 great grandchildren. Wyllodine had 1 brother Ronnie and Jeanann Lemon of South Shore, KY., sister in laws, Gladys Haner, Clara Haner, Hilda Haner and Lilly Mae Haner. Brothers in law, Bob (Carolyn) Haner, Kenny (Marsha) Haner. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with family and friends. She also helped with fund raisers at election time. She worked at Robbins & Myers in Gallipolis. Also was the owner of Georges’ Creek Sand and Gravel. Wyllodine worked at the Gallia County Senior Center delivering meals and later as a STNA.

She also had 2 special friends of Gallipolis, Naomi Wilcoxon and Irene Shaffer, 1 special friend Dolores Bilia of New Smyrna Beach, FL., and special companions Barkley (deceased) and Chase.

On Wyllodine’s last birthday, Landeau Eugene Murphy sang Happy Birthday to her.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Tuesday July 28, 2026 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM. till time of service.

The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Huntington, WV and to Dr. Lauren Christie.

Pall bearers will be: Rob Simmons, Jon Simmons, Todd Daniels, Steven Call, Gavin Harder and Gary Sprague.

Honorary pall bearers will be: Noah Haner, Joel Haner, Jacob Venters, Rowan Daniels, and Bill Venters.
