Obituary

William Bryan 'Bill' Carter age 70, of Gallipolis, died Saturday April 16, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born November 28, 1945 in Gallia County. He was the son of the late Charles L. and Violet J. Saunders Carter.
Bill was a graduate of Hannan Trace High School. He was a lifelong farmer and an avid hunter. He especially enjoyed coon and deer hunting.
He is survived by his lifelong companion and caregiver, Robin Crews of Gallipolis, a son, William Michael 'Mike' Carter and his (Fiancé', Britlan Pearson) of Gallipolis, two sisters, Vera (Jeff) Snedaker of Gallipolis, and Pam Carter Rupe of Gallipolis, one brother, Ron Carter of Gallipolis, his beloved dog, Minnie, and by many friends. He was also expecting his first grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Wednesday April 20, 2016 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home 810 2nd. Ave. Gallipolis, with Pastors Bob Hood and David Harkleroad officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
