Willie Pearl (Jones) Hunter 81 of Gallipolis, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February, 15, 2015. Pearl was born May 17, 1933 in Carroll County, MS. She was the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Macy Smith Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Eddie Louis Jones, Joe Jones and Wendell Jones.
Pearl is survived by her husband, Charles F. Hunter, of Gallipolis, Children: Dorothea (Charles) Mackey, Georgia Griffin, Carolyn (Leadell) Walton and Donna Smith of Kansas City, MO; Daisy (Vernon) Jones of St. Louis, MO; Ollie (Tommie) Stainback of Royal Lakes, IL; Opal (Torrance) Jones of Cahokia, IL; Arevia Griffin of Blue Springs, MO; James (Melinda) Griffin of Gallipolis, OH; Edward (Senita) Griffin and Marlin (Jennifer) Griffin of Bidwell, OH and Regan (Cindy) Brown of Leon, WV; Sister: Macy Bea Weatherspoon, Sidon, MS; Sister In-Laws: Martha Jones, Blackhawk, MS; Kathryn Slater of Harvey, IL and Ethel Gray of Philadelphia, PA; 13 loving grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, special friends: Mildred Lee & Sharon Anderson, extended family, friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be 5–8 pm Friday, February 20, 2015, at Waugh-Halley Wood Funeral Home, 810 Second Avenue. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Paint Creek Baptist Church, 833 Third Avenue with Reverend Harry D. Scott presiding. Entombment will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
